US News | The UKG data shows the Southeast saw a 3.7% decline in workforce activity from mid-July to mid-August 2021, compared to a 0.5% increase in activity this same time in 2019. Among Southeastern states, Florida saw the biggest drop, with a 5.1% decline from mid-July to mid-August 2021 compared to a 0.5% increase in 2019.
