Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply for a job at UKG?
You can search for jobs by keyword, location, function or job type. Once you’ve found a role you think you’d be a good fit for, click Apply.
Do you have an employee referral program?
We do have an employee referral program and encourage you to reach out to any friends or former colleagues who work at UKG so that they can submit your information.
What are some tips to stand out in my application?
Consider your transferrable skills. We often have skills that apply to a job, but just through a different context. These transferable skills can help strengthen your resume by showing why you are a great fit, so be sure to include them.
How long does it take to apply online?
Applying for one of our jobs takes about 15 minutes. To speed up the process, make sure you have an electronic copy of your resume handy, so you can copy and paste as you go.
Please limit your application to the job postings that are most relevant to you. This will ensure you are applying and putting your effort into the roles that give you your best chance at succeeding and getting an interview.
What happens after I’ve submitted my job application?
After applying online, we’ll review your application for the skills and experience as aligned for the requirements required for the role. If you meet the requirements of the role, a member of the Talent Acquisition team will reach out to have a conversation about your skills and experience and discuss the competencies of the role.
What can I do to prepare for my interview at UKG?
As a part of our competency-based interviewing process, you will be asked questions using the STAR method, or “Tell me about a time when,” so have personal experiences ready to share. Also, make sure you read all interview communications for details such as dates, times, and any virtual interview instructions, if applicable. While our employee experience is casual, we encourage our candidates to put their best foot forward in an interview and dress to impress. Make sure you have a list of questions to ask your interviewer that shows you’ve done your research on UKG, and that you are interested in learning more about the organization, department and team you are interviewing with.
When will you notify me that a job that I applied for online has been filled?
We will reach out when you are no longer in consideration for a role you applied to — either by email or directly via phone. You can also check the status of your application by logging into your candidate profile.
How long will my profile remain in UKG’s database?

Notice on Fraudulent Job Offers
It has been brought to our attention that there have been instances of fraudulent job offers, purporting to be from UKG.
Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scam offering fake job opportunities to job seekers. This type of fraud is normally carried out through online services such as false websites, or through fake e-mails claiming to be from the company. The fraudsters often request recipients to provide sensitive personal information, financial information, and/or to make payments as part of their fake recruiting process.
UKG application process
All UKG applicants are required to apply for UKG jobs through careers.ukg.com.
Fraudulent job offers often ask for financial or personal information early in the process. UKG does not ask for any financial commitment or contribution from a candidate at any stage of the recruitment process.
A fraudulent offer may ask you to book travel through a certain travel agency with the promise to reimburse travel costs. During the UKG interview process, a UKG Talent Acquisition representative will book all travel for you.
All job offers are delivered by an internal UKG Talent Acquisition representative.
UKG has no responsibility for fraudulent offers and advises candidates to follow the guidance provided above. If you have any questions about the authenticity of the UKG recruitment process or an offer that you have received, please contact us by email at [email protected].
If you have provided monies or other sensitive personal information and suspect you are the victim of fraud, please contact your local authorities or the Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-382-4357 or online at ftc.gov/complaint.
Build a path to your future at UKG. We’ll support and encourage you every step of the way.
