Prior to rolling out the UKG Pro® Talent Acquisition solution, Coastal Community Credit Union manually completed all of its talent acquisition practices. Receiving 300 to 400 applications a year, the credit union's recruitment team faced a self-described "time-consuming, complicated, and convoluted" process that resulted in high volumes of wasted paper, limited involvement from hiring managers, high probability of human error, information being held in various locations and susceptible to misplacement, and confined access for current employees wishing to view and apply for internal opportunities.

Throughout this evolution, Coastal Community Credit Union has realized a range of hard and soft cost savings, positively impacting its people and the credit union's bottom line. Among these are saving more than 10,000 pieces of paper in one year, just with moving to online applications.
In addition, the time required to post new positions decreased from hours to minutes, and automating the process has eliminated the need for a dedicated recruitment administrator.
