Come November, many organizations are knee-deep in the open enrollment season. And while the hecticness of preparing your solution may have passed, the enrollment period itself quickly approaches. In this edition of the UKG Ready Report Rundown, we’re focusing on three reports that you can use throughout the enrollment period to calm the chaos and after your organization’s benefit trends.

Leading up to your enrollment period you’ve navigated through ensuring your solution is configured and ready for your employees to enroll in their benefit plans. You’ve done all the back-end preparation you can. But what comes next? Below are three must use reports during the enrollment period and beyond:
- Open Enrollment Status Report
- Auto Enrollment Requests Report
- Benefits Change Requests Details Report

Open Enrollment Status Report
The Open Enrollment Status Report is a must use resource throughout your enrollment period. This report provides a bird’s eye view of the enrollment status of each employee. You can see which Benefit Profile an employee is in, if they’ve started or completed their enrollment, and if it’s been rejected. Use this report to easily search and filter for specific employees or on enrollment status. You can also use our new recommended chart feature within the report to view the data in a more digestible way.
You can access this report by navigating to My Info > My Reports > Benefits Reports > Benefit Open Enrollment Status.
Auto Enrollment Requests Report
Before we explore this report it’s important to note that this is only used by organizations who use auto enrollment Benefit Profiles. Not sure what that is? An auto enrollment Benefit Profile may be used during enrollment events for employees to confirm the automatic renewal of their existing benefits, if your organizations policies allow it.
Since the plans have additional enrollment settings such as workflows to allow the auto-start process, the Auto Enrollment Requests report will tell you the status of those requests. And while auto-enrollment saves time in the selection process, employees will still need to submit their enrollment request so approvers can manage the auto-enrollment requests directly from this report!
You can access this report by navigating to Team > Benefits > Enrollment Requests > Auto-Enrollment Requests.
Benefits Change Request Details Report
The Benefits Change Request Details Report will show you the individualized details of each of your employee’s enrollment requests. Broken down by the different plans selected, this report shows you:
- The plan chosen (or waived)
- What the employee’s previous coverage was (if any)
- Premium amounts
You can also customize this report to show any additional Benefit Plan details you desire. This report will also give you a snapshot of which plans have high participation, what offerings may need to change next year due to low participation, and really understand what types of Benefit Plans your employees value.
You can access this report by navigating to Team > Benefits > Enrollment Requests > Change Request Details.
