Being prepared for updates and new features that come with every UKG Dimensions™ release is key to your success with your solution, as is understanding how the releases will impact and bring value to your business.
What types of releases are there?
Your Dimensions solution has two types of releases, major and minor. Once a year, there is a major release, followed by three minor release updates. Available release content will depend on the depth of the release, and it will include anything from release highlights to webinars, job aids, Community updates, and more.
Where can I find available resources for releases?
Your best friend for everything you need to know for release readiness is the UKG Dimensions Resource Center in the UKG Kronos Community. Once you navigate to the Resource Center, you’ll see an icon and link dedicated to Release Readiness for WFM.
Once on the Release Readiness WFM page, you’ll see a Release Essentials tab for each previous and current release, and each tab includes everything you need to know for that specific release. Here you can find:
- Interactive Release Highlights that give you important information about features in that release
- Job Aids that provide step-by-step instructions and screen shots for configuring, enabling, and using new features
- Feature Summary by Industry content, which outlines how the different features benefit your specific industry
The Dimensions Trust Site is another important release resource, accessible through the Dimensions WFM Community. On the Trust Site, you’ll have access to information about service updates and when your specific instance of Dimensions WFM will be updated to the latest release. You’ll also be able to see the status of UKG Dimensions services if you’re experiencing any issues. We recommend that you subscribe to the Trust Site emails so you always have the most up-to-date information in your inbox.
What if I have questions or want to connect with other Dimensions customers?
You can always connect with UKG experts or other Dimensions customers in the WFM Group in Community. UKG will always post in the group when there is new information about releases, and you can also post questions to fellow users or UKG subject matter experts. These interactions can help you understand how best to use your solution, and they provide insight into how other Dimensions WFM customers are using the solution.
