Three Must-See UKG Ready Feature Enhancements from September
Release 101 officially deployed for all PODs at the end of September. As always, each release brings a set of new enhancements to features and functionality within your solution. While it’s important to keep up with the updates, we know sometimes it can be time-consuming. And that’s where the Working Smarter Café comes in. Today we’re highlighting three enhancements that came out in this release that are game changers when it comes to supporting your employees. Let’s dive in!
Streamlined Authentication Experience
Giving your new hires the ability to self-serve from day one is a must and improves the overall onboarding process. The first time an employee logs in to the UKG Ready® solution, they’ll be able to configure their two-factor authentication preferences with no help from their manager or company admin. When your new hires log in, they’ll be able to verify their identity through whatever contact information you have on file and then configure their desired settings from there.
If you only have an email address on file for your employee but your organization doesn’t allow email as an authentication option, they’ll verify their identity via their email as a one-time option and then set up their phone number, authenticator app, etc. This takes away the need to bring in their manager or company admin to unlock their account or set these preferences for them before they even start their first day.

Form I-9 Updates
We’re always on the go and — let’s be honest — constantly on our mobile devices. We live in a digital world! Our Form I-9 experience was outdated, unintuitive, and hard to fill out on a mobile device. We found that employees were confused about how to fill out the form, which led to more mistakes being made and more time spent correcting these issues. That’s why in this release we converted Form I-9 to a webform. This is a modern, fully responsive webform that is mobile friendly, and it will provide more guidance to your employees as they are filling it out.

End Performance Review
Picture this: It’s almost time for your annual review season and you find out one of your employees never finished their review from last year. And while it may not happen often, when it does it throws off everything. Now, we’ve added an option to End a performance review. When selected, this option will lock down the review but maintain any saved history. You can save it for your records without having to delete it and easily create the upcoming review without any issue.
