The Latest and Greatest New Features: UKG Ready Release 102
Release 102 has officially been deployed, making all its new features active in your UKG Ready® solution. We’re excited to showcase these latest enhancements, designed to enhance your solution and streamline your day-to-day workflow. Let’s check it out!
Reporting updates
There have been a couple of updates made to your reporting abilities. The first is that users will now be able to freeze up to five columns per report view across our 500+ responsive reports within the system. Frozen columns will be easily set via both the report table and the add/remove columns. This will enable administrators and managers to focus more closely on key identifier-driven information when navigating through dense Time, HR/Talent, and Payroll reports.
The next update comes from feedback that the growing height of rows is not always ideal for daily reporting tasks. Users will now have access to two new Data Density options in responsive reports- via the Data/Chart view switcher- which is set globally per user:
- Standard - uses existing row height/paddings
- Compact - uses slimmer row height/paddings, similar to classic reports
Additionally, all banded rows will now have darker shading, regardless of the Data Density row option and system theme used.
Finally, users will now be able to generate a CSV-driven report export file that removes all quote marks surrounding values, labeled as: CSV (No Quote Marks). This is also available in classic reports as well as Email Schedule, Schedule Report, and Deliver with Payroll configurations. Accessing this file type is permitted through the existing CSV report export permission.

Extend Open Enrollment dates
Historically, when your Open Enrollment dates are extended, if employees have not yet submitted their in-progress enrollment options, the system ties the employees' enrollment to the original end date instead of the extended date. This prevented your employees from submitting their enrollments, requiring manual intervention. With this latest feature, when administrators change or extend an organization’s open enrollment dates, employees with in-progress enrollments will also have their enrollment dates extended. A notification will be sent to applicable employees when this change is made, saving you time spent on manual intervention to address those employees in progress.

Benefit Plan Designer: Displaying real-time premium contributions
The Employee Contribution field within the Benefit Plan Designer will now dynamically calculate and display the result in real time once the premium amount and employer contribution have been entered. This helps address the prior lack of visibility regarding employee contributions. When a user entered a premium and an employer contribution, the corresponding employee contribution field was not displayed. Now you have complete visibility into that field.

Limit List enhancements
The new Limit List enhancements allow for multiple Root node selection and the option to include Subtrees. Once the Enable Multiple Subtree Selection toggle is enabled, when a parent node is selected, all child nodes will be automatically included, eliminating the need for manual selection of each Cost Center option. The new option will enable admins to configure up to 300 Cost Centers as part of the list, reducing high admin effort, configuration errors, and slow access changes.

Dynamic Period Grants
The absence of a mechanism to set accrual grants based on employee-specific dates, such as hire date and anniversary date, forced the administrator into a firm, period-only grant model. This hindered the ability to tailor accrual rules in individual milestones. Now, a new option to grant accruals based on an Employee Date will be available. Administrators will be able to define the grant period based on the following dates:
- Date Hired
- Date Started
- Date Re-Hired
- Seniority Date
- Birthday
- Benefits Date
- Custom Date
This enhanced dynamic period definition will be applicable to key accrual rules such as:
- Fixed Grant
- Time Worked Grant
- Balance Limit within Period
- Max Accrued Amount
- Tenure-Based Grant rules
