Dive Right In! UKG Ready Release 100 Brings a Wave of New Features
Release 100 has officially deployed, and all its new features are active in your UKG Ready® solution! We have plenty of exciting enhancements that came out this release that were designed to elevate your solution and make completing your day-to-day tasks as efficient as possible. Let’s dive in!
Employee Header Data Options
Being able to quickly view/access key employee data is essential for admins, and that data may differ from organization to organization. Our latest enhancement to the employee header provides more data options that are available to add into the header. These options include:
- Rehire Date
- Termination Date
- Account Status
- Employee EIN
- Employee Type
- Pay Type
- Default Cost Center 1
- Birthday
This enhancement was one of the most highly requested ideas in the UKG Community™. We’re excited to provide more options for you to choose from and be able to customize the employee header to fit your organizational needs.

New Work Opportunity Tax Credit Vendor Offering Through HireCredit
Did you know there is a tax credit that could provide employers with substantial tax savings ... and that UKG Ready offers an integration to streamline that process? In this release we introduced a new Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) vendor, HireCredit. Available to add on through the Solutions Exchange within your solution, this offering aims to help your organization determine if you qualify for those hiring-based tax credits.
How does it work? HireCredit adds a few survey questions to the application process to help determine if an applicant meets the tax credit requirements. Then they’ll utilize your payroll data to submit for WOTC tax credits on your behalf. Taking the guesswork out of determining if you qualify for credits.

New UKG Ready Learning Enhancements
We’re making it easier than ever for admins to effectively use and manage UKG Ready Learning. With our latest updates, the courses you’ve deleted or archived will no longer appear in the list of available courses and will be removed from any present Checklist, HR Action, Scheduled Event, and Asset, ensuring your employees will only see relevant, active courses. Plus, any unassigned courses will no longer appear in Learning reports. We’ve also introduced a new Course Sync button, which will give you an easy way to reconcile course data. And to top it off, we’ve added a helpful check when assigning learning materials — if an employee doesn’t have a Learning Profile, you’ll get a clear message, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Creating Shift Templates
Are you looking for a quicker way to schedule? Well, look no further than the new Shift Template creation process. With this new feature, you and your managers can save shifts as you are creating them, whether you do that ahead of time or in the process of building your schedule. These new Shift Templates can be created under our new scheduling panel, which can be accessed by turning on the Try the new look and feel toggle. Once you’ve added the details for your shift information, you can choose the new Save as template option and either just save it as a template to use on future schedules or save and apply it to the schedule you’re currently creating.

Payroll Comparison Report Permissions
Ensuring payroll processing is accurate is a top priority for payroll professionals, and most of the time, your managers are part of the checks and balances. The Payroll Comparison report allows for error detection and accuracy for your payroll processes by comparing and identifying discrepancies between current and previous payrolls. This report can be turned on for access based on Security Profiles, but additionally, in this release, you can now determine who can see which employees within the report by using a new Group Permission option. This new permission will allow other administrators or managers to review their employees’ payroll data in the validation process, helping ensure a more accurate and efficient payroll process.
