As we’ve known for a while, artificial intelligence (AI) has become an integral part of our lives whether we recognize it’s AI or not. For the past decade, UKG has continued to make significant investments in AI technology. Did you know that several AI features are already available in your solution, depending on the modules you have? Let’s check them out!
Recommended Charts – Recommended charts is an easy to use, one click option that will create meaningful, recommended charts in any responsive report in your solution. By providing recommended chart options, it streamlines the process and ensures that the right charts are available to admins and managers when needed.
Guided Analysis – Guided analysis delivers meaningful insights into a variety of reports including compensation distribution, flight risk, and the tax wage report to name a few. While most reports require the People Insights module to use Guided Analysis, the Tax Wage Detail report does not. Guided Analysis on this report allows admins to easily determine variances in state unemployment taxes ahead of quarter-end processes to help reduce the number of reconciliation payrolls and manual work to calculate the variances.
Guided Analysis is available for all on the Tax Wage Details report. On all other reports Guided Analysis is available for those with the People Insights Module.
Scheduling Optimization – Scheduling optimization proactively creates scheduling recommendations based on different factors such as shift budgets, employee preferences, availability, training and certifications, credentials, and licenses. These recommendations streamline the process for scheduling admins, significantly reducing the time needed to create the organization’s weekly or monthly schedules.
This feature is available for those using our Advanced Scheduler module
External Benchmarking – External benchmarking gives admins access to reliable, validated industry benchmarking data. This gives your organization the ability to check and see if you’re staying competitive and are meeting industry standards. Benchmarking includes tenure, compensation, turnover rate, hiring rate, overtime, and training.
This feature is available for those using our People Insights with HR, Payroll, and Time modules
Fatigue Analysis – Our fatigue analysis functionality tracks employee work patterns. To help prevent employee burnout, fatigue analysis is used to alert managers on employees with rising work fatigue. This functionality can also provide managers with recommendations on how to help their teams reduce fatigue based on proven practices.
This feature is available for those using our People Insights module with Time.
UKG Ready BOT – The UKG Ready BOT gives authorized system admins, who also have access to Cases in the UKG Community™, access to submit questions and report issues to support agents in real time, directly from your solution. We’ve recently revamped this support chat experience to include a 24/7 chatbot that can provide users with relevant documentation while waiting to be routed to support.
What’s next for AI?
If you attended our UKG Aspire conference this year, UKG Bryte™ AI for Ready was a hot topic that several of our sessions touched upon. Bryte AI is our brand-new AI tool for our UKG Ready customers and is meant to empower managers, admins, and employees alike. It’s truly your trusted sidekick for helping your organization be the best it can possibly be.
One feature that is out now for those who decide to add on Bryte AI is Employee Assist. Employee Assist has access to all our UKG Ready user guides and knowledge articles and can help your employees get the answers they need to their questions about the system. You’ll also be able to upload your own company documents for Employee Assist. This will allow Bryte AI to search through and provide answers to employees’ questions based on your own company documentation, as well as UKG Ready documentation. Questions such as “Are travel expenses reimbursable?”, “What is the dress code”, and “What is our PTO policy” can all be answered through Bryte AI.
AI is always evolving and ever-changing. Our teams are constantly asking the question what else can AI do? You can look forward to more AI enhancements coming throughout 2025 and beyond!
