Talona Felix is an innovative government consultant that employs a data-driven strategy that ties human resources, payroll, and workforce management analytics to empower agencies to deliver positive outcomes for their people and citizens. Talona has 20 years of experience in public sector and has served as the Workforce Business Consultant for the UKG Value Team. Prior to her current role as Government Strategist, she spent 13 years with the City of Mesa, AZ. As the Time and Labor Administrator for City of Mesa, Talona was involved in all aspects of workforce management. Her expertise includes system requirements, process optimization, financial impact, labor trend analysis, and leave management.
Talona has participated in several UKG (formerly Kronos) Customer Advisory Boards, and, as a customer, was a sought-after speaker at UKG’s annual users’ conference where she shared best practices with other UKG customers. Given her experience with the product and her expertise in the public sector, Talona is the industry subject-matter expert for business process analysis, data-driven value assessments, and using data to drive strategic initiatives. She is also an enthusiastic dog lover!
Talona has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Arizona State University. She also received her PHR certification in 2007 and SHRM-CP in 2016.
