As the Education Industry Principal in the UKG Public Sector practice, Rob Tibbs provides subject-matter expertise to the company’s growing K-12 and Higher Ed customer base. Leveraging his strong background in education, he works with school districts and universities to help them realize maximum value from their UKG solutions. He’s a regular thought-leadership contributor to several publications and works with districts and institutions across the country on best practices and change management strategies.
Prior to joining UKG, Rob was the Director of Payroll for the Jefferson County School District, Alabama’s second-largest district with 6,000 full-time and part-time employees. He successfully transitioned Jefferson County Schools from a completely manual, paper-based time management system to a state-of-art UKG solution.
Rob is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Athens State University with degrees in Business Management and Accounting. He also holds an MBA from the University of North Alabama. Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with family. Fun fact: Rob has 15 nieces and nephews that he enjoys spoiling on a regular basis.
