Speaker Bio

As a UKG Public Safety Sales Strategist with 25+ years in the software industry, Lu Busalacchi not only understands the unique challenges faced by public safety agencies, he also understands how to use software solutions to solve them and become more efficient. 

Previously, Lu was the Product Manager for UKG TeleStaff, an advanced scheduling solution for public safety employees – and was instrumental in driving its development. As a subject-matter expert in public safety, he regularly advises UKG Customer and Internal Advisory Boards to help define the future of UKG solutions. 

As part of his ongoing role at UKG, Lu is constantly communicating with UKG customers to stay on top of emerging public safety trends, and to help ensure customers are fully leveraging their current UKG solutions to realize a maximum return on their investment. 

Lu is a graduate of the University of California Riverside with a degree in Business Administration.  An avid outdoorsman, Lu enjoys spending time in the mountains, photographing nature, hiking, rock climbing and skiing.
