18¢. That’s the current gap in gender pay equity — and it’s even wider for women of color. It might not sound like a lot, but yearly it creates a $10,157 pay chasm that dramatically impacts a woman’s quality of life.
Pay equity is critical to the health and welfare of the people it impacts. But it’s also critical to the success of all businesses, not just because it’s the law, but because underpaying females chips away at employee morale, confidence, and loyalty.
In recognition of International Women’s Day, join UKG on March 3 at 1:00 p.m. ET for a panel discussion on the gender pay gap featuring female leaders Stacie Baird, VP at a national public company, and Julian Guthrie, founder and CEO of Mindset Alpha.
Led by Brian Reaves, Chief Belonging, Diversity, and Equity Officer, UKG, they’ll explore the steps we can take — as individuals and organizations — to create an equitable world.
