After enduring the grueling military training required to become a Navy SEAL that pushed his physical and mental toughness to their limits, Dan Cnossen’s life was changed forever on deployment to Afghanistan when he stepped on an IED, losing both legs. After two years of recovery and over 40 surgeries, he discovered biathalon and cross-country skiing, going on to represent Team USA at the 2014 Paralympics.

Now, Dan tells his inspiring story of perseverance and overcoming adversity in order to share the skills and techniques that carried him through his darkest moments — tools that can be employed even for day-to-day frustrations on the job.
