Overview of Speakers

Nanne Finis, UKG
Nanne Finis is the chief nurse executive at UKG. Serving internationally as the nurse leader for UKG, Finis lends her 40 years' expertise in collaborative work across clinical, operational, and administrative settings to guide strategic thinking and to nurture strategic relationships across the healthcare marketplace. Prior to UKG, Finis served as nurse executive for TeleTracking Technologies, where she formed and led an advisory service optimizing patient flow processes and technology adoption at hospitals across the nation. Earlier in her career, Finis spent more than two decades at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in both clinical and progressive management roles. She then transitioned to Joint Commission Resources, the knowledge transfer subsidiary of The Joint Commission, where she designed and led the U.S. patient safety and quality consulting practice and operationalized the industry alliance strategy.

Dr. Patrice Harris, eMed
Patrice A. Harris, MD, MA, FAPA, a psychiatrist from Atlanta, has diverse experience as a private practicing physician, public health administrator, patient advocate and medical society lobbyist. She was elected to the American Medical Association Board of Trustees (BOT) in June 2011 and was voted in as Secretary (2014-2015) and Chair (2016-2017). She was elected the 174th President (2019-2020) of the AMA and is currently Immediate Past President.

Active in organized medicine her entire career, Dr. Harris has served on the board of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and was an APA delegate to the AMA. She has also been a member of the governing council of the AMA Women Physicians Congress, testified before and served on AMA reference committees, and has served on AMA work groups on health information technology, SGR and private contracting. The AMA BOT appointed her to the AMA Council on Legislation in 2003, and she was elected by the council in 2010 to serve as its chair.

Nicole Nelson, UKG
Nicole has spent her career on one or the other side of the table working with human capital management (HCM) and workforce management applications. As a lead solutions consultant, she enjoys partnering with sales and clients to utilize her strong product and industry skill set and HR background to help find solutions that best meet the client's business needs by providing software solutions to reduce productivity issues and operating costs and to provide the best possible return on investment.

Prior to her time as a solutions consultant, her experience included more than five years as an HR practitioner and more than six years of expertise partnering with clients across a variety of industries as an accomplished and professional HCM consultant. Through her various roles, she has worked with and partnered with a variety of HR professionals, from HR generalists and PR specialists up to controllers, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and CHROs.

Andrew Lux, Healthcare IT Leaders
Andrew is the Director of Managed Services at Healthcare IT Leaders and a leader in the firm’s Healthy Returns practice. In his role, he leads large-scale COVID-19 testing, implementation, and strategy for our large enterprise clients that include Unilever, BD (Becton Dickinson), Boston Public Schools, and the California Department of Public Health, among others. His deep technical knowledge and previous experience in enterprise lab software implementations allow him to aid organizations across all industries in building client-focused COVID-19 mitigation and compliance solutions.
