AI helps frontline employees not just survive, but thrive
Frontline employees keep our organizations, communities, and economies running — yet their needs are often overlooked. Findings from a 2025 global study on the frontline workforce, commissioned by UKG and Workplace Intelligence and conducted by Walr, reveals what’s really happening on the front lines today.
Based on insights from 8,200 frontline employees across 10 countries, the report explores burnout, flexibility, work-life balance, and the growing role of AI at work. Frontline employees using AI report lower levels of burnout (41% of AI users vs. 54% of non-AI users). These findings uncover a clear opportunity for leaders: Use AI to make work better — not to replace people, but to support them.
Discover how AI can reduce burnout, strengthen engagement, and improve both the employee and customer experience in this study.
