Accrual Donations – This feature allows employees to donate their accrued time off to others in need of time off. This can be done through two donation methods — donating to a company bank or peer-to-peer donations.

Holiday Eligibility Requirements – Holidays fall at various times throughout the year, especially during those peak hiring seasons. If your organization requires employees to work certain days around a holiday to qualify for holiday pay, you can use the Holiday Eligibility Pay Calc rule to set parameters around holiday pay. This will check if the employee worked the day before, the day after, or both the day before and after the holiday to allow for the holiday pay to be calculated into payroll.

Edit Emails and Merge Candidates (UKG Pro Recruiting) – UKG Pro Recruiting empowers you to streamline your hiring process by reducing duplicate candidate records. With the Candidate Merge feature, recruiting administrators can merge duplicate candidate records. Recruiters and recruiting administrators have the ability to edit candidate email addresses and fix any inaccuracies for external candidates whose status does not yet show as hired. This applies specifically to candidates not already existing in any other UKG Pro solution. This feature prevents candidates from needing to create a second candidate profile with their correct email address if they previously entered an incorrect one. Both features collectively ensure data precision and minimize redundancy in your solution.
For more information, review the Merge Candidates help topic and the January 2024 What’s New update for additional details on how to the Edit Candidate Email Address feature.
Candidate Self-Scheduling (UKG Pro Recruiting) – Recruiters and hiring managers can give candidates a choice of interview times and allow them to select the time that works best for them. This feature helps reduce email volume and gives recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates an easier way to find an interview time that works for everyone involved.
If your organization is not already using the Calendar Integration feature to schedule interviews, a recruiting administrator needs to follow the steps in our Interviews help topic to set up the integration before you can use Candidate Self-Scheduling with Video Conferencing (see the Video Conferencing What’s New item on this page for more information on this feature).
When the Calendar Integration is active, follow the steps in the Schedule an Interview help topic. While much of the process remains the same for those already using the Calendar Integration, there are some differences when using the new Candidate Self-Scheduling.
For more information on Candidate Interview Self-Scheduling, you can also visit the August 2023 What’s New update.
Edit New Hire (UKG Pro Onboarding) – Onboarding owners can change information for new hires that are assigned to them, including editing a new hire’s start date without sending them back to Initial Review status. All information can be changed except for email and country, and the new hire must have a status of Launched, Final Review, or Pending Updates. A new hire’s information cannot be edited if their record has been sent to process hire in UKG Pro or if a case has been created in E-Verify. Learn more
New Hire Uploads (UKG Pro Onboarding) – Save time by allowing new hires to upload their own documents with the New Hire Uploads feature in UKG Pro Onboarding. This feature will allow new hires to upload documents into UKG Pro Onboarding, and the files will flow directly to the designated document category in UKG Pro: General, Employment Eligibility, Pay & Taxes, or Policies & Documents. When administrators configure the documents that new hires can upload, they can designate if a file is required and if it is visible to the onboarding owner.

Depending on which eQuest option you choose, different job boards are available.
Indeed and UKG Ready work together to streamline your recruiting efforts to get better results in the talent attraction process. Shift Swap and Request for Coverage – As part of the many Employee Self-Service (ESS) options within UKG Ready, employees can take advantage of shift swap capabilities with other employees who meet the requirements for the shift. Additionally, employees and managers can submit shifts to be covered. Available employees can then pick up the shift that is open to fill the gap in the schedule. Shift swapping helps ease the burden on employees and managers when adjustments to schedule coverage are needed.

Create an Advanced Course Assignment (UKG Pro Learning) – Administrators can create assignment rules for a particular course. They can assign a course to one or more groups of people based on their Job, Unit, or Above Unit. They can also combine criteria to create more advanced assignment rules to meet training needs. This will automatically assign courses to new hires without an admin having to add individuals one by one, helping the admin save time if they need to assign courses to a large number of employees. You can preassign courses to summer workers before their start date by using the automatic assignments. Learn more
Academy Leaderboards (UKG Pro Learning) – Who doesn’t enjoy a little healthy competition? In UKG Pro Learning, employees can view their Academy Leaderboards to see where they stand within the community or an academy. The more active they are, the more points they earn, increasing their score. Employees can gather points by attending courses on topics within and outside their focus. The administrator of an academy can set how many points will be earned after specific activities (when a learner enrolls in a course, completes a course, passes an exam, etc.). Admins can also set up content that’s more digestible for summertime employees, like quick YouTube videos, infographics, slideshows, and quick instructional videos. Employees can then be effectively assessed with quizzes for self-evaluation and formal learning assessments. Learn more
Employee Engagement Pulse Survey (Employee Voice) – The questions in this survey are leading indicators of the employee engagement experience, per the latest in psychological research. These results can give you a quick snapshot of how employees rate their experience so you can decide if you want to take a closer look.
Employee Well-Being Survey (Employee Voice) – This survey will measure how well balanced employees feel as compared to their potential for burnout.
Employee Onboarding Survey (Employee Voice) – Engage with your new employees with the Employee Voice Onboarding Survey and the 30-, 60-, or 90-day check-ins after an employee has been hired. This particular report has automatic triggering capabilities so that administrators can set the survey once and it will automatically send based on an employee’s hiring date. Trend reporting then allows you to see how employees feel about their onboarding experience and how this trends over time. The trend reporting can also inform future onboarding procedures for future seasonality cycles. Learn more about the trend reporting.

Employees can also complete the survey at the touch of a finger using the mobile app. You can build surveys from scratch by entering your own survey questions or by using three predefined survey templates to choose from: a pulse survey, a standard engagement survey, and a Manager Effectiveness Index survey. If the template doesn’t quite match what you’re looking for, it can be edited to fit your needs.
