UKG makes available SMS Services which its customers use for its employees or users (“UKG Service Alerts”). The UKG Service Alerts could be used for different purposes such as Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) Tokens used to sign-in to UKG Subscriptions Services and communications initiated by the recipient employer.
Recipient Instructions and Terms
You, the recipient of the SMS, can cancel the SMS services at any time by just texting “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After such confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS Messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign-up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS Messages to you again.

UKG and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us. You will receive messages as required based on your usage of UKG’s Subscriptions Services. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Customer Terms
In addition to the terms of the agreement between UKG and customer, the instructions above and related terms, the use of the UKG Service Alerts by Customer is subject to the following terms:
Restrictions on UKG Service Alerts
Customer agrees that UKG Service Alerts have not been designed for, and may not be used as, a means to connect with country specific emergency services such as 911, E911, 000, 112 and 999. UKG shall have no liability for any delays, failures or unavailability of UKG Service Alerts due to transmission or other delays, errors or problems beyond UKG’s control, or any other interruptions caused by the mobile communications network and/or mobile devices. Use of the UKG Service Alerts is subject to the terms set forth in the applicable agreement between Customer and UKG and applicable acceptable use policy of the carrier. Customer shall be responsible for any damages resulting from the breach of such acceptable use policy and agrees to be liable for all loss, damage or injury that may result from Customer’s failure to abide by such policy. Customer acknowledges that communications occurring through the UKG Service Alerts may be subject to certain mobile carrier policies or government regulatory requirements for mobile communications, and Customer agrees to comply with those policies and requirements.
Security Considerations
The UKG Service Alerts rely upon a third party hosted communication platform and interactions with worldwide telecommunications networks to deliver messages not under the control of UKG. Accordingly, Customer understands and acknowledges the exclusive statement of the security and privacy provided is: UKG will undertake commercially reasonable measures to protect the security and privacy of data transmitted through the UKG Service Alerts, however the security and privacy of the data cannot be guaranteed in this global network involving many third parties.
